Love silver jewellery so decided to enter shop accompanied with my disabled son with learning difficulties. James tried to pick up a bell in the shop. I quickly told him to put it down and told him to stop. He apologised profusely to me and I then looked at staff in the shop to see if they were ok about this. This is where I was sadly disappointed to see a woman in her 50’d giggling with another staff member about the incident. She noticed me looking at put her head down quickly. It’s a shame in this day and age people are still so uneducated regarding disabilities and found this funny! Embarrassing me and family so we hastily left feeling humiliated upset and angry at how other people would think this is ok! Clearly wasn’t rocket science to see James has learning difficulties. Makes me concerned for him when I am dead and not hear to protect him from such blatant ignorance of an old woman whom should know better!!
