I'd highly recommend their syphons - the fact you can buy a new syphon, many years later, that fits in the old outlet pipe is awesome! That's the difference between a 2 min job, and the inevitably much longer job of removing the cistern and fighting rusty mounting brackets and screws.

A couple of weeks ago a qualified plumber installed a Dudley toilet cistern for me. He spent a long time trying to adjust the pressure of the flush to stop the water splashing over the seat on to the floor. He left, saying he couldn't make the pressure any less forceful so I should put a mat around the toilet to take the splashes. Can anyone please help me.

My original Dudley valve lasted close to 20 years in a frequently used cloakroom. I was delighted to find that the newer version (Niagra Flush) produced by Dudley not only felt good quality but had been designed so that it would fit the original housing of the concealed cistern, making a potentially tricky and messy job simple. It fitted a treat! Their support desk was able to promptly and clearly answer a couple of follow-up questions I had about replacing the push-button whilst the wall was opened up. I really appreciate the consideration this company has given to its customers.
