I have some complications with my eyesight and some family history with sight issues. Thomas Carter test absolutely everything with up to date equipment and staff who really know what they are doing. Cosmetically too, I described my ideal glasses frames and they presented me with a choice that all met the brief. They recommended some particular lenses. When they arrived, they gave me the best vision I have ever had. It was like an up to date flat screen tv compared to an old set. Did I mention that I am really happy with their service?

I have been to good opticians before but Clare and her team at Thomas Carter operate at an exceptionally high level. When I rang them for emergency advice they helped me even though I was not a patient. I then went for a check up and the quality of care and attention to detail is superb with state of the art equipment. Im a specialist in oral surgery so I know what a good service is. Clare and her staff are professional friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend them. They are not local to me but well worth travelling to. Thank you so much.

Good on warm water hygiene advice for blocked glands. Well staffed and friendly. Staff professionally attired. Rating ought to be higher but sometimes offer unvalidated eye treatment. Also covid approach was different to a nearby dentist- mask inconsistency. Employees are pressured into sales targets. Drinks are served. Ninety percent of S. Duggal's Google reviews are 5☆

We have been going to Thomas Carter for years, all 4 members of our family wear glasses. The service is exceptional. Only yesterday I popped in because I had lost an arm off one of my pairs of specs and rather than have me go to the expense of a new pair, as i hadn't long had a new prescription put in my existing glasses, Joanne found 2 spare arms and added them to my frame! Nothing is ever too much trouble.....and they are all working so hard during during the current climate. Thanks guys!!!!👏👏👏👏
