Excellent variety of classes, brilliant instructors, clean, feels like a luxe experience rather than the gym being a chore. Islington has a very good work space if you need to set up. The shakes and food are great too.

I signed up for this gym while it was undergoing refurbishment and was ensured that the weight area would be expanded. There are 7 machines, 2 squat racks, and 2 benches. This is nothing in comparison to other locations, but they’ve now raised prices to the same price as other locations when this doesn’t have most of the amenities of the other locations. There is no smoothie bar, the gym is so crowded that I’ve had to wait 10 minutes for a hairdryer and was late to work because of it, and they refuse to turn on A/C when multiple of us have raised these concerns over five times. We hardly ever get response and when we do, it’s severely delayed. To now charge members the same price as other locations when there’s limited equipment and massive overcrowding (all when we were promised the refurbishment would make it equivalent to other locations) is an atrocity. Edit: here is the “refurbishment” 😂 a machine that is broken so weights have to be put underneath to ensure a seat will stay in place. £230 for additional manual labor and same price for other locations that are actually nice!

This is such a friendly and welcoming club! The classes are all delivered to a high standard and every care is taken to ensure all areas of the club are very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the Marylebone club. It’s a Jewel in the Crown Estate!!!
