Absolutely charming and wonderful with exceptional service! From the moment of anticipation, waiting for the red curtains to open at the front door, through being welcomed by our sweet waitress Andrea, to the delicious food prepared by the talented chef Dori, we were thoroughly impressed! I only wish there was a Witchez in our hometown 4 hours away!! The atmosphere and quirkiness were beyond expectations. STILL FANTASTIC!! Hooray.....the new venue is now open!!!! My wife and I have been HUGE fans of Thewitchez after discovering them by chance several years ago. Following the ever growing number of friends/fans/customers (call us what you like) it was inevitable that they would eventually outgrow their original premises, but now in their new home, thankfully the magic can continue!!! Subdued lighting and quirky environment just give this restaurant such an amazing atmosphere but this is just the starter. The main course is the menu, made up of some excellent choices, many inspired by traditional recipes derived from European cuisines and all made with the most amazing top quality ingredients. Each dish is presented in the most artistic way which I believe would challenge many top Michelin star restaurants! The only difference is that instead of paying through the nose, here you'll be paying much more down to earth and extremely reasonable prices. Oh and one other difference is that here you will get very generous portions!! 'My' particular favourite is the Witcheliceous Burger which is no ordinary burger and is still the best burger I've ever had .....and believe me I've tried a few in my 64 years!! We have visited many times now and sampled so much of the menu and everything is just wonderful! But don''t be misled, this is no 'Burger Joint', far from it, the menu offers many choices including steak, lamb, fish, schnitzel, cheeses, amazing salads and so much more. And so if the Starter is the amazing atmosphere and the Main Course is the amazing food, Desert can only be the amazing people and service that you will encounter at Thewitchez. If you are put off by the thought of Warts and boiling cauldrons as you enter this restaurant don't be. Instead you will be greeted by the loveliest, friendliest ladies you could ever wish to meet who will make you feel so special from the moment you walk in the door and will continue to make your dining experience truly brilliant. I can only liken the experience of dining at Thewitchez to that of dining at a private exclusive members only restaurant. We couldn't afford to do that but Thewitchez gives us the chance to feel special for an evening and to experience that same level of food, service and surroundings! Are we biased in our praise? You bet your life we are as we have now forgotten just how many times we have visited Thewitchez and each time has been just as amazing as the rest!

Had a three course meal here and although it was a saturday night and very busy we were served quickly. Had mini garlic breads as starter very morish followed by lemon chicken pasta and tiramisu for pudding. All dishes were hot and tasty and a good portion size. Love it!
