I write this 2 days after I visited the salon for the first time. I'd seen good reviews and thought I would give it a try. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and wanted a simple pedicure. No polish etc just removal of dead skin and a freshen up. From the experience I had I would recommend you avoid at all costs. Whilst the salon is clean the lady that dealt with me and gave me my pedicure I highly doubt she was qualified. Since receiving the treatment I have been in agony constantly using savlon and plasters to treat where she cut me. Her service was appalling to the point where the manager said don't stress the client out she's pregnant. It was that bad the nail technician had to take over to try and rectify what the lady previously had done. All whilst doing this the manager told her to hurry up as other clients were waiting for their appointment. Telling her to quickly finish and asking her how long she would be. She did this on 3 occasions. Thankfully the nail technician carried on. She apologised profusely as could see the damage that had been caused to my feet. She even offered for me to go back in a couple of weeks so I'd have a better treatment. I'm not one to write negative reviews however the pain that I'm in combined with the poor service I received I'd not want anyone else to have that. I have noticed from the reviews the manager doesn't respond to any negative ones. Upon leaving I addressed my concerns but nothing from the Manager and she proceeded to take my £27.00. Would highly recommend avoiding at all costs. Service: Pedicure

I wouldnt even give it a 1 star. Absolutely horrendous! The worst waxing experience of my entire life! I was in there for 1.5 hours normally a body wax takes just over an hour at most.. but this time I had two ladies thinking ill be done in no time and will be able to pick up my kids earlier than expected. I was wrong... they took twice as long and neither of them had much experience. One of them in particular, was definitely new, and learning and im fine with that just as long as theres a more experienced person supporting so the customer isnt sat there like a guinea pig to practice on. 1. She didn't know which wax to use 2. She kept getting stuck with wax on her hands and couldn't cope with the applicator. She kept dropping the wax on the floor. 3.She kept layering on the wax thick, which made it more difficult to strip off and therefore she needed to go over the same are a number of times.. making it sore and bruised. 4. Waxing was done in patches and she didn't know where she had started or left it at.. which meant I still had patches of hair. 5. She moved on to my other arm without first finishing the first arm. 6. The worst.. I had 3 wax strips on my arm at one point.. she thought she'd be quicker doing it this way... but wrong.. the wax was layered too thick, and the strips did not pull of easily, it was so painful I ended up telling her to stop and don't touch anything any further.. I had to leave the place covered in wax.. because I was so sore. I'd upload pics if I could.. but theres no option to. I have patches of bruises under my arms.. and my armpits are also sore.. and after 1.5 hours with two women, they still hadn't finished the job. NEVER in the last 6 years of going there have I ever experienced such awful service..not sure what's happening, but the place is going down hill. Lastly, I blame the management, not the learner, knowing that there's a full body wax booking in, they should not have put her down alone to do this. Neither of them had any idea. NEVER GOING BACK! I had eyelash extensions done on 21/3/23 they were late on arriving then kept me waiting for a further 15mins once in there, the lash extension were awful and none existent! What was put on started falling of by the evening ! The lady was new but clearly did not know what she was doing it took her over 2hours .Needless to say I will not be returning back. Not a great experience I wouldn’t advise being waxed here. I had my bikini line and upper legs done and now I’ve got bruises on my bikini line and thighs. Which isn’t the end of the world , but if I was going on holiday etc I’d be very upset. Don’t get me wrong I’m smooth, the hair has been removed okay, unlike some places I’ve been where stubble was left etc. But from the second I walked in it just felt like the lady who waxed me didn’t know what she was doing. I was left for about 5 mins on the bed for the wax to warm up, as she had to call another lady in to get it to warm up. She spoke about 4 words to me , which again is ok - but when I’ve been to boldmere heaven scent to get waxed for example , they’ll always talk to you the whole way and I feel it helps being distracted. This is my second time being waxed and I thought I’d try somewhere cheaper , I payed £23 which is a cheap nice price, but I did get what I payed for. The shop as a whole is very pretty and very clean; just wouldn’t advised being waxed. Service: Waxing
