  Gilbert has been an excellent chemistry tutor!! My experience with a chemistry tutor before Gilbert was poor, but Dibah assured me that Gilbert would suit me. I find that the most effective teaching method is if I don't know the topic/ or have forgotten it, Gilbert would explain it concisely and make ways that I would remember it. After I understood the content, the next crucial part was the application. For this, I focused on doing past exam practice questions, which I found were challenging and would highlight to Gilbert the questions I had found hard, and then we would go through them in the session. I also feel that preparing for the exam was well organised with Dibah and the team, creating a tracking board where I could see which day I would finish each topic so I would be ready for the exam. Overall, the whole experience was terrific, and I can see why students who study in this strategic, systemic and organised method are guaranteed to get results! From my perspective, my health and focus did become very poor to the point where my eyes would close after five minutes of revising, get blurry, cold, collapse on the floor and zone out. Unfortunately, this meant I had to quit preparation. It was hard for the team and me. The team always accounted for and adapted to the situation by trying to give me shorter tutoring sessions - an hour instead of two hours, emailing me and checking my progress. They were also compassionate, caring, understanding and supportive, which helped me mentally and inspired me as they could see me for what I am and feel as a person rather than just a student studying. I am forever grateful for their help and wrote this review to show that even though I didn't go through with Chemistry, I learned how to plan sitting for a test and to listen to my body. When my health improves, I will start prep with the team for my GAMSAT exam. This experience gave me confidence in the team's abilities. Thank you, Gilbert, Dibah and the rest of the team!

  I completed the MMI circuit with MSAG in December and found it very helpful. All the interviewers were of different ages, backgrounds and personalities, which prepared me for the great varieties of people that actually interviewed me. There was a wide range of questions, which I had never encountered before and they challenged me. These questions improved my ability to think on the spot and quickly structure my responses. The personalised feedback I received boosted my confidence as it showed what I did well, but it also emphasised what I needed to improve on so I could do more research on it. Afterwards, I was able to fill the highlighted gaps in my knowledge and during the real interview I could answer the majority of questions the interviewers threw at me. The MMI mock circuit structure emulated my real interviews, therefore I felt calm during them.

  Please be wary as they only post positive reviews on their website. I thought honesty and integrity were important in medicine? I used their UCAT QB, which I found good at the start and posted a positive review. But after that, the new questions they released were full of errors and their updated calculator was terrible and impossible to use. They did give me 50% off their interview course, which was okay, but again full of typos and a lot of info can be easily found by some googling. I had a terrible experience with their PS review. The comments were incredibly condescending and completely destroyed my confidence. I purchased their review looking for support and for constructive criticism to be delivered in a non-judgemmental way. Instead, they just ripped it apart with their overly harsh language. When I mentioned this, they came back saying I must have misread the tone....nice. again, I thought communication and empathy were important in medicine? They did not post my review on their website. Discarding their advice got me 4 interviews and 3 offers.

  I found my experience with theMSAG’s interview courses extremely rewarding. I felt that it really helped me in ultimately securing medicine offers, thanks to the tutors who encouraged but more importantly really pushed me to become a better and more competitive applicant. Although questions were helpfully customised to my chosen schools, what impressed me most were the reactive insights I received in feedback from the tutors. Their experience was evident in how they took theMSAG’s tried-and-tested methods and principles and adapted it to my weaknesses and personality, all of which they seemed to figure out very quickly! Overall, I would definitely recommend theMSAG to any aspiring medical applicants.

  I had a great experience with theMSAG’s interview coaching for medical school interviews. The tutors were incredibly helpful and competent, allowing me to build on my interview skills, such as answer structure and overall communication. The best thing I gained from the coaching was confidence. Practicing interview questions with personalised structured feedback allowed me to build my confidence, as I got to understand not only what I could improve upon, but what I was already good at and could use to my advantage. Overall, I would recommend the 1:1 interview coaching!

  The tutors have been incredibly supportive throughout my application process. The interview courses are especially superb compared to any other tutoring services that I have tried. Being a re-applicant, my weakness was definitely my interview skill and the MSAG had successfully helped turned me into a strong interviewee. I improved on my technique, structure, knowledge, communication and confidence. I highly recommend the MSAG, they will make your application process much smoother and help you become a very strong applicant!
