And best of all, they are SO HELPFUL when i send delicious choices from their smart selection to my living local friends. A fair collection of European wines, but nothing too exotic. I went in to purchase 3 wines with distinct taste profiles and the staff was friendly to help and make recommendations, but none of bottles had the characteristics I had explicitly asked for. I specifically asked for a Pinot with more neutral oak where the the fruit could shine, with an aftertaste of chocolate and vanilla. Instead of a nice, soft, floral, earthy Pinot, I got one with a nice fruit forward, but very sharp, with a tabaco aftertaste, way too much fresh oak. The dry riesling was palatable, but didn't have the flavors of peach and green apple I expected. The worst of all was I had asked for a hearty cool climate syrah with notes of white peppercorn, but instead got a bottle that tastes like rotten plums and apricots. It's the only reason I'm writing this review, because this bottle belongs in the bin and just accentuates the poor qualities of the other purchases which were pasable even if they didn't meet my expectations. Many reviews point out the knowledge staff, but in my experience, the recommendations were very poor and nothing I would purchase again. Sadly, my search for a decent wine shop in London will have to continue.

Great selection of wines from all over the world, with options to suit all budgets. The hand written labels are a nice touch. Staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. You can create an account to track which wines you've bought before. They also do weekly tastings and events so I look forward to attending one soon!
