We used to frequent this pub a lot and loved it, great atmosphere, nice food etc, but since the refit they have either missed something or lost something.

Well, we've been back for a meal with friends today 23/05/23. The real ale is still good and a good selection available. Prices are rising though and wines are now very expensive. The menu has been changed and is lacking in choice with too many fried foodstuffs and veggie choices. Extras are expensive; sweet potato fries £3.29!? The staff are accommodating, friendly and helpful. Our meals were served in a reasonable time period and were exactly as ordered, but not very well presented and lacking in sauce and taste. It's a decent place, but if only there were more choice and the food was of better quality here...
