My husband and I visited this lively friendly pub /restaurant tonight. Tha food was very well presented and was absolutely divine. The portion size was perfect and the desert was huge! I had Eton Mess and couldn't finish it . We were both stuffed. The staff were all very attentive and cheerful and looked like they very much enjoyed their jobs and took pride in what they did. Totally recommend this place , you won't be disapointed.

If you are looking for a restaurant for a special occasion, a lovely meal for two, a family get together or a meal out with friends then look no further. The Wooden Fender is a newly refurbished restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating. It is clean, spacious and has great parking facilities. The menu is perfect no too big but still offers a great variety of dishes. Children are also very welcome. Great garden area if the weather is lovely and you fancy eating elfresco.
