Always a pleasure to spend time at this proper old fashioned inn. The owners put a lot of love into the place and it shows. Guaranteed a warm welcome. Well kept ales. Pretty garden. Lots of oak and a cosy wood fire in season. Noteworthy details: Pretty well kept garden, ivy covered booths, flower beds and lawn. Nice old oak booths in the long bar.
