Been a member of the Wine Society for a few years now. This place has a wide range of wines catering for all tastes. The wines available cover many independent or family run wineries from all over the world and a different selection from those found in your supermarket. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable on the different types of wine. The Wine Society also offers tasters on some of the wines available both everyday and fine wines. Would thoroughly recommend joining for those who enjoy a glass of wine and want something different to what the supermarket offers.

Not very professional when it comes to EP purchasing, record keeping and storage of your wines. As the current thread on Wine pages shows. Best purchasing en Primeur with more professional wine merchants and storing with them. edit it appears that you have to be one of the beautiful people to get emails on the top end wines. £2k spent with them this year and I still didn't get one for the Rousseau offering this morning. Maybe the dawn chorus got it all with the 6am email this morning

I've been a member for several years and I continue to get a great range of wines at reasonable prices. Also a special shout out to the Wine Society delivery driver for his care in delivering my selection today, as he literally walked up the hill to deliver the case to me!

Order sent to my family and, subsequently diverted, ended up in the DHL entropy well. This was handled by exceptionally well by the the staff dealing the inevitable problems which occur at at this time of year. The Wine Society is a wonderful organisation and I am proud to be a member. The wine is superb; from affordable to what you might wish to to pay. Their customer service is impeccable.

I've been a member for a number of years. Forget the old, stuffy image- this is a modern, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly organisation. Their prices are competitive and I love supporting a not for profit organisation that supports and works with growers, rather than impersonal supermarkets. I recently took delivery of a case of six wines that I didn't like - most unusual. The Wine Society immediately gave me a credit note without any question. Pretty amazing customer service.
