We had a lovely welcome and friendly service when we visited. Really relaxed vibe and lovely food. Definitely recommend! Vegetarian options: The starters had a lovely selection of vegetarian options,so we just ordered several to share. The baked camembert, beetroot salad and halloumi fries were amazing.

Went for a Sunday carvery which was lovely, especially the cauliflower cheese. The only downsides were the wait it took 15 minutes to the bar we were seated without drinks and had to wait another 10 mins for a drink. They also only do one pig in a blanket and a stuffing ball per customer which is a bit stingy and the crackling was a bit chewy but the chef did warn us it wasn't great but crackling doesn't always turn out perfect. Dessert was beautiful appart from a suprise rock hard pecan in the pudding that was a bit like biting into gravel. We were rushed off our table as soon as we had finished which felt a bit rude but they were busy. In all it was a great meal it's easy to see why it's so popular.

We were there as part of a big party that were asked to place their orders in advance. But, hats off to them, they brought food out for our table of 16 or so people pretty much all together, and it was all hot. I ordered the dry aged Ribeye steak, and my wife ordered the salmon with rosemary potatoes. We both found the food excellent. My steak was cooked as ordered and tasted very good. Personnel were attentive and friendly. Toilets were clean and well maintained.
