Rooms: Clean, tidy and very good value. Nearby activities: Plenty of close by National Trust properties and other attractions. Odiham, Hook and Farnham are good to visit. Walkability: Very close to the rail station. Food & drinks: Fresh, generous food - you won’t go hungry! Noteworthy details: Very welcoming traditional no frills inn.

Stopped in with family for lunch on Thursday during half term. Place was empty which should have rung bells. Staff were friendly and service was quick, but both burgers and fish tasted of frozen and reheated rather than fresh, and fish portion was tiny. Not great value given the prices.
