A Fullers pub in a good location near the cathedral, friendly attentive staff and the fish and chips we had was excellent. Great job!

First time here. Lovely pub. Great staff. Food was nice although we thought the portions were a little on the small side. Other than that, all good. Be happy to return.

Really nice town pub. Clean, well presented, and well looked after beer, which is very important! It's a Fuller's pub, so it has the usual suspects but with a couple of extra bits. The team was very friendly and helpful to guide my friend and I around the choices. Food looked good, but we didn't eat. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in town

Stars are for today's service and hopefully a one off, with poor organisation, lack of staff and being busy. But this shouldn't be an excuse. Arrived at 1300 for reserved table. Rest of group of 6 arrived at 1310. Ordered food at 1330 ish. After 40 minutes asked where order was. Told 5 minutes time. Waited another 20 minutes. Told another 5 minutes. Food arrived after 1 hour 15 minutes. If you are busy and understaffed don't take "walk in" food orders. Focus on those who have reserved a table. Food was okay.
