Sonja and Jo did our wedding cake for our wedding in April 2023 and the cake didn't just look stunning but it was absolutely delicious and stayed fresh and moist for an entire week. The whole process from cake tasting through consultation to delivery on the day was absolutely smooth. Sonja and Jo were super responsive and we got a digital cake design after our consultation which was super useful when speaking with our florist. Sonja and Jo also liaised directly with our venue for the cake delivery on the day so I did not need to worry about anything but could simply enjoy eating my cake. I would 100% recommend them and they were even able to accomodate my diabetes relatives and amend their recipe for the cake accordingly. Also their taster boxes are MASSIVE - such a hard choice between flavours. Sonja and Jo - thank you so much for your contribution to my day, ensuring everything ran smotthly and I had the yummiest cake ever.

I booked a consultation and shared my ideas with them and what these ladies created for us was incredible. I found The Whitstable Cake Company very last minute before my baby girls first birthday party. We were in the area and so enquired thinking it would not be possible to get a cake but they were so helpful! I ended up not only with a cake that was delicious but also exactly what I had been thinking about all from a few phone calls and emails. I was so happy with everything, the studio is so cute and gorgeous, cake was delicious and the decorations were spot on! Thank you so much ladies! You really made it all so special!

Sonja and Jo are a pleasure to deal with and their cakes are absolutely amazing. Our first meeting with Sonja really put our mind at ease and we totally trusted the team to make our wedding cake in line with our theme and ideas. There is a wide selection of flavours to try beforehand and we settled on the delicious lemon & elderflower liqueur & gin flavour. The design was stunning and we had loads of comments about our fantastic and unusual cake.

We were both treated to afternoon tea at the Whitstable cake shop this afternoon and we had the most delicious selection of sandwiches cakes and scones all freshly made on the day by Sonja and Jo who looked after us really well all the time we were there.We both thoroughly recommend this shop and we will definitely be coming back again a big thank you.

We booked a cream tea for all the family, 4 adults and 4 children to celebrate my son's birthday on 23 April. The staff were really friendly and the food amazing. There were 2 vegetarians and the choice of sandwiches etc was excellent. Would definately visit the tea shop again. The attention to detail was really good and they sent us away with cake boxes of the cake we didn't manage to ear. The portions were huge. Great day out.

I was fortunate enough to visit this amazing gem today for afternoon tea. Where do I begin, firstly both Sonja & Jo were incredible, I had to cancel my original booking and they made this process so simple without making me feel a pain. The premises I would describe as petite, pretty and perfect! I chose the word petite for several reasons, the premises are cosy and give a wonderful atmosphere, typical of a good cake company, the cutlery and crockery was themed for a lovely afternoon tea. The cakes that arrived in the cake stand were petite and scrumptious, every flavour imaginable, lemon, blueberry, vanilla and of course chocolate, every bite had a different taste. Did I have a favourite, no that were all truly delicious. The sandwich choices were lovely and they catered for fussy sandwich eaters without making us feel awkward, so thank you. I make my own sausage rolls and I have to say these were mouthwatering and I loved every bit, actually these were my favourite…The waitress was a breath of fresh air, very happy & helpful, nice to know people are happy at work. This place is a perfect hidden gem, had it not been recommended to me I would never had the wonderful experience I had today.. Visit and see and taste the delights. The cupcakes on sale looked so tempting too. All I can say is thank you & Wow
