Stopped here for a drink on a motorbike trip through the Yorkshire Dales. The place is beautiful and rustic in a nice peaceful setting. However, £10 for 2 pints of Lemonade & Lime is absurd. To top it off, the Lemonade was room temperature and not even refrigerated (2L Schweppes bottle). Service was adequate, but nothing special. I certainly wouldn't recommend stopping here if you're passing by, and if you plan to book a room I'd check the prices of drinks as they could well be significantly higher than you'd expect. Last point - only 2 benches outside, and the one we sat on had a rotten/insecure seat slat. I wouldn't bother stopping here on nice day if both benches are occupied, as the location and view are the only positives. Food & drinks: Soft drinks horrendously overpriced - 2 Pints of Lemonade and Lime for £10.

(Translated by Google) It's a place where you need a car to go, but you have to deal with it to meet the beautiful nature. The room is quiet and tidy, but the bathroom smells like a sewer. The breakfast is great. The dinner menu at the bar was enough to make us happy.

It's an amazing location ,great for walking. Or a romantic night away. They have an amazing chef. The menu £££, however, I could not complain . 😋 Would definitely return for a short break. But I would upgrade to a bigger room to get a bigger bed. The double in the small room was a little short for my husband. Food & drinks: Amazing chef, however, to have a small continental breakfast choice , would also be a preference.
