We had a good dinner experience here a couple of months ago, but that was topped by a great lunch/brunch today! The service was great, attentive but not intrusive…even nailing that end of meal time when you don’t know when you’ll catch someone’s eye to get the bill - everything from being seated on the beautiful dining patio, to prompt ordering and delivery of food was excellent. And that’s not the best bit…this place has the best pub menu I’ve perhaps ever seen if you like a broad selection of gastro options (and more veggie options than I’ve seen in a pub before…but I’m not a veggie). I love a pie and chips, but when I take my wife out to lunch we like to have something different and perhaps even healthy…it’s usually slim pickings for such options but not here! I had a delicious smoked trout brunch and my wife had a confit duck poke bowl, both absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. There’s also plenty of options for varying family dynamics including a semi separate kids play structure and beer garden style area. This is fast becoming my favourite place to eat in Hampshire…and it’s very close to home. Well done and thank you White Horse Otterbourne!

Very expensive tiny portions of not very impressive food. Sadly this place has gone downhill since my last visit in 2019 when the prices and quality were highly commendable. They exclaimed they had to compete with the local competition but I disagree, they were a great pub, with great local food and good prices now they charge more for less with less quality.
