Used as reception for our wedding and was absolutely perfect. We had maximum 28 guests to cater for and the food and drinks were divine. Reserved the restaurant area and members of the public continued using the bar so happy we were kept separate. Guests also used the rooms for before and after and we heard good things from all of them.

Lovely pub in a very convenient location a short walk from the station but also a short walk to the town making it a really nice point to meet up with people The service was very good and its a very well kept calming environment really nice pub! Walkability: About three minutes from the station and four minutes walk into town

Really nice looking bar. Just the one ipa on draught (neck oil), and the food menu looked a bit basic, although we didn't have anything to eat here, so I can't comment on the quality. Staff were friendly, and there was a giant dog (or possibly a small horse) going round the tables looking for attention.

All of the staff here are really nice and welcoming and extremely helpful and caring with arranging an event for us.
