Firstly, the service was warm, friendly, quick, thank you, great start. Now down to business: I'll have the Buttermilk Chicken Burger please after a long day in London!!!! Ah, yes, I could really feel the level of passion for food in this £18 burger! At least with KFC they have certain standards. Now my quiet Wife's chicken salad, in her own words "flat, soggy, greasy, half cooked, not fresh" but in all fairness she did say "the croutons were edible", so well done with that. During inflationary times, we don't eat out much but when we do we like something lively and honest for our money. Lovely venue though, we were there 2 months ago for drinks while waiting for our Indian Take-away.

Visited last night and always think people are quick to do bad reviews . So what about quick to do a great review . Nice welcome . Was actually offered to choose from two rooms ( already booked rolltop bath ) room 3 and 4 . I chose room 4 as Im not so keen with an end to a bed . Also like where bed was situatedand the fairy lights. Lovely view of church . Great selection of teas, coffee machine always a bonus and even a sachet of hot chocolate (which I took back for the kids). Water was a nice welcome too . Only thing they need is a chain on the plug for the bath . Some people would find the toilet not private enough but there is also use of a toilet just outside rooms too. Lovely comfortable bed pillows and bedding aswell as towels . Evening meal nice and if we had arrived a little earlier would have made use of the 12-6 pm deal . Breakfast times were great up until 11 although we went about 9.30 ish . Breakfast was one of the best Ive had . Completely happy with our break ( and I'm pretty critical tbh ) will definitely recommend and return . Thank u 😁😃

Top notch stay from start to finish. Ellie and all staff couldn't have been more helpful. Whole place is presented well and the room we had was clean, comfy, and far more characterful than average. Fine food quality and choice, with a decent wine list. Highly recommended. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 | Rooms : 4/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 … More
