I have just completed an overnight stay at the Wellington North Hospital whilst having a heart operation and although the surgeon and all his colleagues were brilliant, the hospital was very poor value for money. I am a self paying client and the cost of 24 hrs plus the use of the theatre was £17,500!! I ordered dinner and never received it. My breakfast was not delivered to me until 9.30am and was very poor quality. Overnight I did not sleep at all as the heat monitor was bleeping constantly. Often I would ring the bell for attention and it was up to 10 mins before someone came. Altogether a great surgeon and anaesthetist but a poor hospital.

My uncle stayed in this hospital for a whole year and paid ridiculous amounts of money for what? The food is disgusting and the consultants one named Athwell dont give a flying # . He was discharged yesterday unwell, with no after care in place. A card and goodbye..this hospital is not all it seems to make out. There is no communication poor response to emails and up dates on the patient's well being. And to top it off after being discharged unwell the patient fell out of bed in his new home at 5am pressed his pendant alarm to be told the ambulance would be there in about 2 to 3 hours. He was wedged lying on the floor between a waredrobe and a bed frame with no way of getting up as he is paralyzed one side. The facts are. The hospital has no care, no after care, a useless chef, and the worst communication with family. Dont pay their disgusting charges.. for 12000 a week gordon Ramsey could have been hired to make better food, rather than peanut butter on toast.

- There is no interest - There is no eagerness - There is no truth The nursing staff is very, very weak, not commensurate with the rehabilitation center. My needs were not reconciled, and I was neglected in a very big way. I will return to my country and I will not come here forever because of the psychological condition I went through because of the poor management of the hospital and the nursing staff is a very failed hospital I stayed for ten days, the air conditioning did not work, and then they brought me this water conditioner. Is it possible that this happens in a hospital that is considered an ancient?
