I love coming here lovely fresh meat. And the cheese counter. Montgomery cheese. Honestly I have never tasted anything better. The cafe serves good food. And the staff are very friendly. Really worth a visit.

Popped in here for breakfast. Never been here before, so wasn’t sure what to expect. The cafe is to the side of the farm shop. It’s got plenty of seating and has table service, which was an unexpected surprise. The wife had the pancakes (see photo) and they were a decent size. I went for the breakfast bap. It was pretty big, and was very decent. Not the cheapest destination for breakfast, but would definitely visit again.

Extortionately over priced food which wasn’t great quality. Had to wait an hour for someone to take our order and even then only because we asked someone. Won’t bother again.

Usually go for breakfast which is excellent. Today we decided to have lunch. My friend had the chicken focaccia which she said was very good. I unfortunately had the shepherds pie which was abysmal. No vegetables with it or in it. Nor did it taste of lamb in any way. It had been cooked with tomatoes like a ragu and was so bland and underseasoned I stopped eating half way through. Tastes as bad as a supermarket ready meal and is very rxpensive for what you get. Not inclined to visit for lunch again.

Really disapointing lunch here last week. After waiting for the ‘table service’ that we’d been offered on arrival, we eventually had to go up and order at the till… but only after waiting for the chap behind the till to order his lunch. Then, after being seated for 40-45 minutes with nothing to drink or eat in that time, I finally managed to get hold of someone to seek out our coffees. For some bizarre reason, the ladies sitting next to us, who arrived much later than us, were given table service and received the drinks they ordered pretty quickly. It seemed as though, despite booking a table and being in full view we had been completely forgotten about. When the food did eventually arrive, we had to ask for cutlery and the two glasses of water that we had requested at the till never materialised. The portion sizes were disappointingly small and, unfortunately, neither of us thought it was great food - certainly not worthy of the high price. We left pretty quickly and pretty disappointed that what was supposed to be a nice lunch turned out to be a perfect example of how not to do things. We had a second coffee and cake elsewhere and we doubt we’ll go back for another visit unfortunately.

We recently attended their Coronation celebration with an evening beacon lighting and buffet. The food was lovely and a good choice, I had a Hot Corgi! The music was a bit loud, but that's probably me showing my age. The beacon lighting was good, it took a little time to get going, but there was a really good atmosphere.
