I am a trustee of Tipton Food Bank and our greatest desire as a trustee group and volunteer team is to serve our community in every way, to the best of our ability. We are open for THREE SESSIONS per week: Monday (not Bank Holidays), Tuesday and Friday from 11.00am to 1.00pm. We have operated these hours of work for ten months. We have never closed two hours early. We are a voluntary organisation offering food and signposting to clients within a set time frame - We are not like Tesco or Asda offering 24/7 availability. We offer a short term emergency service to mitigate problems which people suffer. Although we try our very best, we can never be the complete answer to those suffering food poverty. When you come to us we don't judge. When you come to us we offer compassion and love at times of challenge. I am proud of our achievements since we opened in 2013.we owe a great deal to our loyal volunteers who freely give of their time to serve our community.

The volunteers are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. If you find yourself struggling and need any help, they will try their best to help or will put you yo the direction of where you can get help if not something they can help with.
