Such a lovely experience, Laura handed us a NYE timber and snacks immediately and sat us amongst beautiful things. She explained everything clearly and we had a chance to run through the whole. If there was anything we thought of that wasn’t there she was able to pull it from the archive and add it. So easy, so glad we made the visit and can’t wait for our gifts to be delivered!

Nice team on the phone but the business premise is deeply flawed. Stock issues, delivery chaos and bewildering layers of correspondence. The website is pretty and easy to use initially and guests found it straight forward but honestly, I wish we'd just put a spread sheet together on our wedding website and let guests delete the gift if they buy it. Would have been far less hassle. It was a pretty maddening experience - wrong items delivered (then we had to arrange returns with another carrier which hasn't been straight forward), huge wait for items, lots of our stock, really confusing correspondence from lots of different people rather than one account manager. We got married October 2023 and have still not resolved all our issues. The biggest frustration was the heavy mark-up of items is shocking when you research the price for most gifts online. I get that the company need to make a profit and cover their costs but most items were 20-40% more than the high street price - presumably they're getting further back-end off the brands they stock. We ended up converting most of our gifts into a Curry's Voucher and buying gifts ourselves as seemed silly to pay £60 for a bowl that was actually £30.

Please be aware that in order to make a profit, WPC orders items in bulk, direct from suppliers, entirely at their own convenience. Not yours. As a result of this, you will not receive gifts in a reasonable timeframe after closing your list. It is also highly likely that guest’s carefully chosen gifts from your list will be discontinued by the time it is convenient for WPC to place their order (we had seven) which was extremely embarrassing. If this does happen, they will not simply give you the (your!) cash in order to source the item elsewhere which is particularly infuriating. You have to pick alternatives from their website, starting the whole process again. We bitterly regret getting involved and would urge anyone considering WPC to look elsewhere. Do not get drawn in by the flashy website / showroom and dubious Google reviews, speak to someone you know who has used WPC and ask them about their experience.
