    Cracking little pub… Go for the beers, stay for the dogs!! It’s small so get there early, settle in and don’t leave until you’re asked to. The beers are very very good, 14 or so on tap, expertly made across the road and takeaways available too, dog friendliness brings the best doggos in, lovely afternoon sun and friendly service means this could be the best place to drink a drink in the area. Unpretentious and now serving pizzas on busier days. Definitely worth a visit

    I only had time to pop in for a quick pint, but I'm going to have to come back at some point. They have a great selection of ales, and I really enjoyed the porter I had. The place looks great and the staff are lovely too. They also have an outside seating area which will be great for sunny afternoons. I noticed they have a place over the road that's available for hire for private parties with beer 🍺 and pizza 🍕. Not too far from the station either, so perhaps I'll have to get on the train soon!!
