I have been dealing with Lee and the team at TWS since 2012 when I purchased my Jacob & Co. I have since gone on to purchase all of my other time pieces from TWS and even been guided in how to build my watch collection, acquiring some very sort after watches at a fair price. I would say I consider Lee and his team to have become good friends over the years. TWS always look after me and those I recommend are always very happy. They never sweat the small stuff, always happy to humor my latest watch fascination or rant about rolex (haha) In short, 100% recommended. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my purchases, and haven't for a decade.

I had wanted to post a positive review following receipt of my Brietling Avenger Seawolf within a couple of days of placing the order, however the watch did not come with a certificate of authenticity (COA). Having done my research, this is as per Brietling policy; you need to request the certificate of the watch if purchased as new. Having emailed the team I was constantly referred to their warranty, which was not what I was challenging. The Watch Source team could not prove to me the watch itself wasn’t pre-owned, reconditioned or in fact a high quality replica. I’m now faced with sending the watch to Brietling Service Centre for examination at cost of €350 in order to acquire a COA, when it wouldn’t cost the business any money to request the certificate itself….if in fact they had acquired it from new. No explanation received yet.

Mann’s Quest
Bought a rare watch from this company and directly through Lee only 2 years ago. Now, contacted them to sell my 3 watch collection, all top, rare, classic Swiss timepieces. The offer was 50% of the original price paid BEFORE the vat. Ie. An 18k watch was sold for less than 7k. Call it capitalism or business I saw it as an insult but went ahead as I needed the funds elsewhere. 2 months later - no receipt. The bank asked me for a confirmation of source of funds - he’s not in the office on Friday (picking up his daughter from school, ok…) no number to call him directly and no cooperation from the “office”. An email then received with a pathetic letter saying they bought the watches from me. No reference number, no invoice number, no real official confirmation. Just a pdf letter you or I can produce and attract more attention of a counterfeit or illegal source of funds… To my dismay he responded 3 days later (!) “That is a “proper” receipt, if your mortgage lender is unhappy please have them contact me” I call again on Tuesday asking for Lee again, and again he’s not in the “office”. May I have his mobile number? NO. May he call me back? NO May I receive a receipt please? YOU ALREADY GOT ONE. Is that a believable scenario for a watch seller/ buyer in the UK? Would you trust them with your precious timepieces? I say no. You decide for yourself.

Bought a £2750 watch that after 6 months stopped working! The Watch Source insisted it was damaged by me and wouldn’t cover any works under there warranty!! My advice is only buy quality watches from a reputable dealers otherwise you could end up with a £3000 paper weight like me!!!
