    If you choose to stay here, you are paying for the Waldorf name and nothing else. We stayed here upon returning to London from a short trip to Scotland. The rooms are incredibly tiny, somewhat dated, and dirty. When I tell you that the two beds in our room were six inches apart, I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. There was mold in the shower and dust in the bathroom. I felt like I was suffocating with one tiny oval window in the room. All but one staff member we dealt with at the front desk was rude. They simply did not want to be bothered. The bellman and concierge stood in the lobby bragging about how much they'd already received in tips for the day. The concierge offered to call our taxi to take us to the airport and insisted on using a "flat rate service" even though we said that wasn't necessary. That "flat rate" taxi cost us twice what we paid when we arrived in London. If you want to stay where the entire operation feels quite unprofessional, then by all means, stay here. We very much regretted not returning to our previous accommodations in London.

    Visited the Homage resteraunt for evening meal. Food was great, very much enjoyed it. Service was good generally, but if I had to be picky, the wait between main course and dessert was a little drawn out despite dining area being less than full. Would certainly eat here again though. Very nice.
