Visited the beautiful Peak Cavern to watch The Village Screen’s showing of The Lost Boys, had the most incredible time! Such a unique cinema experience in the cave; staff were wonderful and friendly and the venue looked incredible. Also the pop up food was delicious! Such a great event and would love to attend again 😊🖤

Amazing experience, the staff were very kind and helpful when my deck chair broke. Couldn’t recommend more - cant wait to see some more films through The Village Screen!

Fab experience, we loved the atmosphere and beautiful setting. The silent disco was a brilliant way to build up the atmosphere before the film. My only suggestion would be to either reduce the cost of the alcohol (£19) for a not very good bottle of red or change the rules and allow byo. I'll definitely come to another screening if you come back to Kenwood Hall, and bring more friends.. it was so much fun!

Me and my boyfriend went to watch the Full Monty at Kenwood Hall and it was a great experience. Took our own fold up chairs and blankets and could choose our own spot on the field and we had a good view of the screen. Volume was high enough to listen to the film however, not a big fan of headphones as were hurting my ears after a bit. We didn't buy anything from the food stalls, not really anything that we was interested in was going to be there so brought our own sandwiches, drinks and snacks. Also there was free street parking which was really good. All in all we had a lovely evening and we would go to another outdoor cinema in the future for sure.

The manager was very friendly and helpful, the setting was amazing, the screen and sound were high quality. The downside was they ran out of almost every snack (popcorn, chocolate, crisps ect) before the film had even started, not ideal when they advertise a delivery service to your seat. It doesn’t seem fair to prohibit people bringing their own snacks and drinks and not have enough stock for attendees to buy. Would like to attend again, and have popcorn too!

I had an absolute brilliant night at the village screen watching The Princess Bride. The staff were all incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. The cave was so cool and decked out with lights and chairs. We got a snuggle package which was great! (Blankets, hot water bottles and sweeties!) the atmosphere was really cool and we loved the food vendors on offer just a short walk from the cave. I can’t wait to bring more people here!

I am a self confessed avid movie fan and this pop up cinema can challenge any other run-of-the-mill cinemas and will win hands down. I don't think I have ever even heard of such a thing any where else, not just in the UK but anywhere else where they play THE ABSOLUTE CLASSICS that have made history. We went to watch Pulp Fiction on 05/05/22. I don't think I fully understood it when it was first released not only because of the non linear narration and screenplay but also the various different, ( with some characters very thick and in the same frame in a scene ) accents - given the fact that I was a mere teenager in the mid nineties, still in college. I don't think I was any more wiser last week with the same issues but it was the experience of being able to see it in such a spectacular setting. I wouldn't label it as a venue as some of the non paying guests to watch the movie along side you are the birds that fly in through the mouth of the cave. Did I say it was Spectacular? If I didn't can I say it over and over again a few thousand times!
