Shocking stay - hotel under refurbishment ( which is not advertised) no breakfast despite it "included in cost", no invoice forthcoming ( despite promise to email on check out and calling twice) entrance was down a stairs to what felt lime a cellar entrance and felt quite frankly unsafe. Very dissapointing stay despite room being modernised.

Under construction without any notice during booking!!! “Check-in” is in the utility room in the basement. Smells dirty and moldy. No wifi. Smoke detectors are covered up with plastic caps - extreme danger and complete ignorance of fire code. Construction noises all day. No heat, no air conditioning- the controller simply doesn’t work. No soap in the bathroom. Rooms are newly renovated so will eventually be a decent place to stay, but for the price they are charging during renovations I suggest you find a better and safer place.

Potential to have 5 stars, but its currently in a reformation with a lot of building inside. This was announced after making the booking, they offered full refund if i had any issue. Would have preferred to know before booking, but at least they gave the option. Room was very nice and confortable. Had an issue with first assigned room, which had not been cleaned, but got quickly reassigned to another one (receptionist was ok but could have been friendlier, i felt like he challenged my statement that room was not services). If you are looking right now for just a room its ok, as long as you dont mind the current status of the rest of the hotel. If you want a nice reception and nice general hotel public areas wait till building is over.

(Going from least bad to worse, hold on to your hats!) - Wi-fi is advertised but does not work. - Bathroom had hairs on the floor and in the shower and rooms are quite small. - There was construction going on in the hotel (that we weren't notified of by the way) so we had to enter through the basement and everything was dusty. - To top it off, one night the staff had actually locked themselves, and with that also all of the guests still outside, out! Receptionist was just sitting there doing nothing, it took an hour and 8 guests waiting outside the door and us walking to another location of the hotel chain before a locksmith got called who arrived an hour later. It was almost hilarious if it hadn't been so bafflingly unprofessional.

(Translated by Google) Remodeling is in progress. There was no advance notice. They told me that they informed me of the construction 3 days before the reservation date and provided free refund information, but they said that they had notified the agency (Expedia) because there was no email. I went to the homepage, but there was no notification and no email. We booked a family room 3 months in advance and when we arrived they said they didn't have a family room and gave us two rooms at no extra charge. So I checked Google and it was 85 pounds per room, but we had booked for over 200 pounds. In my opinion, it seemed like a discount due to a lot of complaints due to construction. We checked in, left our luggage, and went to the Tate Gallery. After dinner, the hotel door was locked. It wasn't a visit, it was the hotel door, and there was one employee outside. Originally, the door did not lock, but it was said that the door was locked due to construction. They said there was no way to open it and told me to wait. He said that if you break the window, you can open the door, then we will have to pay for the window. I waited for over an hour, but the clerk just sat in front of the door and told me to wait for the door to open when the customer came outside. It was cold outside and we tried to go to the nearby coffee shops because we have children, but most of them were closed and the pubs were not allowed to enter with children. We went to a 24-hour Starbucks 15 minutes away and waited. Since we had to leave early in the morning, we went to the hotel around 10:00 PM. The door still wasn't open and we said we'd call the police if it didn't open in 10 minutes. He said he was trying to open the door now. They tried to enter through the first floor window through the hotel next door. However, I didn't expect the window to open because it was my room and I had locked the window before leaving. However, the windows opened easily. I was happy to finally be able to enter the accommodation in 3 hours since the locked window could be opened easily, but I was anxious at the thought that anyone could open the window from the outside. We didn't have a hair dryer in the accommodation, so we requested an extra one, but we received a broken dryer. I told them that it was broken and asked for it to be replaced, but they said there was no spare. Both rooms didn't have dryers and we couldn't dry our hair. No wifi. It says no because it is under construction. No heating. They put a small stove in the room but it is too small. It was colder because I couldn't dry my hair. I have a cold. We completely ruined the start of our trip because we only stayed one night in London to go to Gatwick Airport. Construction is in progress. There was no advance notification. This is the worst hotel I have ever had. The hotel was totally messed up and under construction. But they have never notified this before I got there. I paid over 200 pounds 3months ago, but now they are selling the room with 85 pounds only. They should let me know this. I could bear this however, embarrassing moment finally happened. When we came back from outside, the entrance was locked, and we couldn't get in for 3 hours. My 10 year old daughter had to shiver outside. The room is also full of paint smell, I will not going to let this go!!

(Translated by Google) If you are considering choosing a hotel for your stay in London, avoid this one... they are currently undergoing renovations that make the stay dangerous for guests... and even if they are finished, I would not recommend this hotel either... in the 4 days of stay they did not make the room and they do not offer any type of service... there is no wifi... there is no cafeteria... and the people who are at the reception have a passive attitude towards the needs of the clients... in London it is difficult to find good hotels value for money... but if you choose this one you will you will regret (Original) Si estás planteándote elegir un hotel para tu estancia en Londres huye de este… actualmente están acometiendo reformas que hacen que sea peligrosa la estancia para los huéspedes… y aunque las terminen tampoco te recomendaría este hotel… en los 4 días de estancia no hicieron la habitación y no ofrecen ningún tipo de servicio… no hay wifi… no hay cafetería… y las personas q están en recepción tienen una actitud pasiva ante las necesidades de los clientes… en Londres es difícil encontrar buenos hoteles relación calidad precio… pero si eliges este te arrepentirás

(Translated by Google) We are currently staying at this hotel. The situation in which they have the hotel open while undergoing renovations is insane. I strongly recommend that you do not go there, the conditions are dangerous, you access it by going down some small stairs full of rubble and with scaffolding, when you open the door the access to the hotel is the laundry room, a hovel with no space full of bags, and so on the three floors up to the room. They have not made our rooms, nor change of sheets or towels, nor replacement of gel, shampoo, or hairdryer, nobody speaks Spanish, they do not give you any explanation. No WiFi, fire extinguishers on the floor. This hotel is not yet to open, but the price was charged with some services that they do not have. Scammed is the appropriate word. They have a lot to fix for months. Careful. All very unfortunate. My room is 302 in case you read this and decide to give us some explanation. Thank you After seeing your reply Ms. Silvija, the first thing to say is that in these 4 days in the hotel that we have asked to speak with you, where were you? Every day in that small room they put us off and no one in charge has shown their faces, very unfortunate. 1 . The hotel is not 4-star nor will it be due to its characteristics, but I did pay 120 pounds per night two months ago and now on April 8, 9, 10, 11 it has been at 68 pounds per night, we have screenshots of your page web, for which I have paid double. 2, They warned me 24 hours that I was going to hear some noise due to some reforms, not the precarious and dangerous conditions in which they are found. The last day I get out of the shower and there is a man at the window, imagine the situation. We no longer found availability in any hotel the day we arrived. 4 . The hotel sends me an email on the 11th saying that they are going to compensate me and you don't show your face, no one shows up, they have a hard face. I have all the graphic documentation to denounce this situation. I recommend not staying in this hotel, the conditions are dangerous and you will not receive any answer. I am attaching photos of how we have accessed the hotel and tell me if this is normal. All the best (Original) Estamos actualmente alojados en este hotel.
