    The reception staff are lovely. However, I’m left disappointed about how they book appointments. They don’t give the option to reserve it the next day. They say to book online, at a late time they give out appointments. By the time I press ‘Book’, the slots are all gone. It was only by 2 minutes. It’s ridiculous, I also worry about the clients that can’t make their way early in the morning for a walk in. Please change the online service better, this is distressing for some.

    One of the better ones in the area and definitely better than a lot of others in the country that are making it impossible for patients to be seen. When calling up in the morning for an appointment usually end up about 20 in queue and in most instances (provided there are no GPs off sick) can get an appointment for that day. The receptionists i have dealt with recently have been mostly really polite and helpful on the phone. All the nurses and GPs I have seen over the past year have been very attentive and empathetic. I feel very lucky to have this as my surgery.

    To reiterate the other reviews, impossible to get an appointment here. Cannot pre book even though I was flexible as to when it could be, rang at 8am and on hold for 40 minutes to be told there's no appointments left when I got to the front of the queue. told to try patient access or queueing outside the door from 7.45am (?) - not sure how anyone with a job would be able to do this. Seems insane to have a virtual and physical queuing system. Thankfully I need just a routine appointment but fear the day there could be something seriously wrong with me.

    I have been a patient at the Vale Medical Centre for a few years but writing this now having just had my faith in humanity restored having had a rather frustrating experience trying to get through on the phone to book an appointment. This is of course entirely understandable given the on-going government imposed 'austerity' or 'bail-out banker/investor' cuts that have resulted in substantial under funding for the NHS as a whole. But, once connected and talking to a human being I was treated with respect, kindness care, consideration - as I always have been in all my contact with the Vale Medical Centre staff.

    I waited for nearly 30 minutes to speak to someone but unfortunately the experience has been horrible and extremely negative. The rudeness and aggressive response of the receptionist is what you do not want to be faced with when you are dealing with serious health problems. If you are lacking understanding, your tone of voice is totally off, you haven't got people skills and you are just simply rude, being receptionist in a surgery is not the job for you.

    Almost to impossible to get an appointment. In queue number 51 from 8 am for two days straight at the phone as they are accepting people at the door while taking phone calls. They told me this morning there were at least 50 people queing in front of the practise so I guess people that have more of an emergency are trying at the door to get more of a chance. Imagine the danger of this if someone has covid in this queue....This system clearly isn't working so I am asking wholeheartedly management to take a look at it and review as there are multiple comments here saying the same thing. I have been in 6 different practices in my life in UK, 3 of those in London, and never encountered a situation this bad.
