There’s always rude receptionists everywhere and this place is no exception, i suffer from anxiety which to not go into detail also creates physical pain/ problems for me and today this was caused by a simple interaction with a receptionist being made complicated as she didn’t want to accommodate me or help me rather just “do her job.” Instead of listening to my problem or helping me make it easier she only stuck to whatever she was saying and wouldn’t listen. Overall inefficient as lots of system issues too failure to cancel and book appointments at other surgeries for tests, had to call other surgeries for myself after they couldn’t successfully book an appointment. Tried to be positive with them but only so much positivity you can have when things are being made difficult for you and only writing this coz really didn’t need such negativity today and just warning others to be extra patient when dealing with any receptionists across the board not just these ones.

The worst health centre ever. Bring back booking online appointments. Like what is genuinely wrong with you guys. Lockdown has been over for time but I still have to sit there and battle to get through these busy stupid phone lines. I’ve been trying to get an appointment for like a week now. I’m just gonna register somewhere else simple.

Never had a bad experience here, I've been registered to this surgery for roughly 8 years, always managed to get an appointment when needed. Supported through both my pregnancies, my child's immunisations have all been done here and made it the best experience it could be for her. Receptionists are always polite and helpful. Unsure what all of the negative reviews are about and I personally don't believe it gives a true reflection of the surgery.

Shocked at the negative reviews. I've been with the surgery now for 19 years after a moved to Huddersfield for university. Throughout they have been amazing, always got an appointment when needed. Even during COVID and beyond, if after a phone consultation they have felt they've needed to see me (or my family) they have got us an appointment ASAP. All of the team have been great and I've found the reception team very helpful. Honestly, couldn't ask for a better GP surgery.
