Visited twice recently and you’re not allowed to browse you have to use the computer. That’s great if you specifically know what you want. Not sure why you cannot browse around the shop. Also they need to add notices they don’t accept card as it was cash only. A simple sign in front of door would be appropriate Also we walked in to get marched back out as only two or three people were allowed in. There was a queue outside and the attitude was pretty poor. She asked what we were after and we said not sure to be then told that’s no good I’ve got a queue. When we did ask maybe anything Viking she said only Roman Solders but had sold out then still searched it on computer. Why if it was sold out?? Costumes are way expensive. A mask was £30 (Scream and a Dead by Daylight mask) same products online was near half the price. Would not recommend and cannot see this store remaining open if they continue this way. Sorry I don’t normally put a bad review but it was not a great experience and I hope changes are made to enhance the customer experience. **** just read your reply 1) I never shouted obscenities that was another individual who was in the shop which I also do not condone 2) The first time I visited you were nice not sure why the second time you spoke to me like I was a child 3) I never even touched anything in your store because you told me it was not allowed so that’s an absolute lie 4) Halloween is busy yes but treat people with a little bit more respect likewise as should the other customer who shouted obscenities but do not tarnish everyone else with the same brush. 5) It reflects badly on you and your store if you report every negative bit of feedback and how you reply to negative feedback is viewed by potential customers 6) Also just to point out you say abuse to members of staff. There’s only you in there and still that is unacceptable but maybe at Halloween if it’s busy an extra pair of hands would be useful. I appreciate it can be stressful especially Halloween and Christmas but you have to remember not everyone knows what they want immediately so when pointed to a computer you’re just putting them on the spot Thanks for responding to my feedback and wish you well moving forward but please just reply nicely and calmly to feedback and not just report everything it will never look good

Went here to buy fancy dress for Halloween party, the woman who owns the shop could not have been more helpful. The range of stock is fantastic and they stock all sizes and will even order your size if not in. This place is well worth calling in for all your fancy dress needs.

Upsetting experience Bought a Ghostbusters costume for a ghost hunt event. Got to the event and received some upsetting news about family member so kind of put me off getting dressed up as a ghost buster. Sent the costume back unused with tags still on. clear it had not been used. Unfortunately i had disposed of some of the packaging but still sent back in a plastic bag and was tidy etc. They sent the attached message... If they were not happy... why not ask "can you provide packaging" etc. I was devastated by this message. I am on medication for anxiety and depression. this has totally upset me. I'm devastated. It has sent me back in my shell of "I am a hopeless person" I just cant believe it.
