Absolutely disgusted to hear of how the host of the event this evening bullied the bar staff including embarrassing one girl serving by herself on the bar, in a closing speech at the end in a very catty, mean way. Not only that but all of these 'twisted wheel' nights I have only heard bad things about. The clientele being rowdy and obnoxious; extremely impatient, and shouting abuse- even throwing money at bartenders.A bartender who worked one of these nights described it to me as "the most abuse I have ever had behind a bar in my years of bartending". I hope all of this is treated seriously by the owner/s as it sounds hellish for the staff. Granted they can't control their clientele but they can control who hosts, as there's nothing more off putting for going to an event than a bully running it. I certainly won't be going anywhere near this event, and would advise others do the same.
