    Charming Pub and a great stop for lunch on our way south. Lovely welcome from lady in bar who pulled 18 pints with a smile. Badger Ales Beat Bitter & Fursty Ferrett chosen. Pre ordered rolls, snacks & chips were soon eaten and appreciated Lovely garden for sitting outside. Noting they have Rooms plus Camping facilities which look good

    Awful - had friends from France visiting and took them to what we thought would we a great example of a traditional country pub……we were so wrong!! Landlord had TV on blaring, watching Minder, didn’t even give us eye contact while serving beers…..continued to watch the TV. Were made to feel very unwelcome, not even a goodbye when we left, even though we said goodbye! We are locals and I can honestly say I won’t be going back there! The website says great friendly welcome…..I beg to differ, couldn’t be any further from the truth!
