My dad used to manage this store years ago when it actually had a lot of custom, today the 4th of May I entered the store and was shocked at the condition of the water and fish loads had diseases and white spot it was not nice to see when I consulted the staff he said it wasn't white spot. The Malawi were in terrible order and 1 In 5 tanks I would say the worst way had a dead fish that had been in there for well over a few days. This is animal cruelty to another degree. The staff are unreliable with information and wouldn't know anything about fish in the slightest. Feel free to contact me about this. The manager is never about or the owner. The staff has no care for the reptiles in there either. Also live food fridge stinks of rotten food and they would let people buy rotten bags of live food. Which would contaminate a customers tank.

One thing I did not like about this shop was the amount of times being asked if I needed assistance, good stock of fish and accessories, would recommend a visit, easy parking.

Giving a star after a very bad experience with them... We left in their care our turtles Eva and Wally for 3.5 weeks... On our return from holiday we went to the shop on 7th January 2023 and as can been seen on the photos Eva had the shell cracked and the staff avoided to tell us what exactly happened... They said that Eva jumped out of the tank which even that was the case the shell couldn't be broken or crack like this... We send them an email without no reply up to today... We got a message from some Ian pretending ( or may be ) to be the owner of the shop and when my wife called him he was extremely rude, beyond the rudeness... He didn't assume no responsibility, we got no help from them in treating Eva, also the same Ian told my wife what should be as he was a vet which is not... I do no write bad reviews but working/ owning a pet shop and behaving like this is just not right... We made some complains in couple of places will wait for replies as the shop should have assumed full responsibility as our turtles were in their care... I can't recommend them... Awful experience!!!
