I had a 2 hour "one to one" training session, concentrating on wedding flash, with Mike. I came out with a big weight off my shoulders, as for many years I could not get consistent results and he told me exactly how to remedy the issues that I had been having. Mike was extremely patient and knowledgeable as he clearly has had many years of wedding photography and training experience. A lot people know their stuff but can't teach. Mike is certainly not one of those people. If you need training don't think twice about using The Trained Eye!

"I just wanted to say a huge big thank you to Faye, Jodie, Ben and Mike who were training on this weeks Wedding course. Each and every one of you are an inspiration and i have learn't so much from all your own knowledge and personal experiences. No question was a silly question and the group discussions were fun. I feel 100% comfortable using full manual mode as a post to Aperture priority and took a great deal away on the editing training. It was also a fab opportunity to meet other people who were also there to learn, those at the early stages of their careers and those who have done Weddings previously, i feel like we have a nice network of people from our group and we have all kept in touch and spoken since via our group chat. Marie & Nigel were also great- so helpful, made us feel so welcome and arranged for some beautiful models for our portfolio building sessions. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to either start their Wedding photography career, or even those who perhaps need to 'brush up' on their existing skills as things seem to move very quickly within the industry. I now feel like i have the drive to succeed and push myself to go for it! The lunches provided are also a bonus, super yummy - which was great to keep us going for the whole afternoon throughout the shoots."

I dd the 12 month academy programme and it was fantastic. Covers everything you need to know from equipment and technical know-how through to establishing your business and getting in paying customers. It's a significant investment, but if you're serious about wedding photography, I highly recommend it.
