Great experience definitely would recommend. Been back for another visit, the gardens are as stunning as ever, the woodland walks are amazing and to top the day off with a cream tea. Definitely recommend a visit you won't be disappointed.

Picturesque views throughout. The architecture is phenomenal, and the surrounding gardens and woodland are excellent. There’s also a fairly large outdoor area for young children to play. It is however slightly on the pricier side at £24 per person but there is 1000 acres of footprint to explore so this can easily be a full day out.

Worth a visit for all. The house won't take you long to look around, but if that isn't your cup of tea then the grounds are plenty to explore. At a gentle pace you won't go far but will still see plenty, racing at top speed you there is lots of grounds, forests and meadows to discover. There are plenty of cafés, the food is great and staff friendly and helpful. But we warned - you won't leave with much spare change! Go on a quiet day and it's a lovely location, on busy days or events it can get a bit busy.
