Had a pleasant early evening dinner here before trip to titchfield festival theatre. Pub is fine!. Seems to be very much an eatery, as opposed to a boozer, but is a great old building (old water mill) with many original features. Outside seating by Mill stream very pleasant & grounds very green and English. Good attentive service. Food regular and sensible current pricing. As I say, it is a food pub, and non-regulars (as we were) seem to be managed/controlled to avoid blocking 'food' tables & seating. As we were there to eat it wasn't a problem, but I'm just not quite sure how customers who drop in for a swift pint are 'managed'.
