Sorry to say food was cold after waiting over half an hour. My scampi and chips (adult) was smaller than my child's dinner. Burger was cold . Its a shame could be a lovely pub

It's okay, first time here staff were polite. Had steak and after receiving the meal I had to call the waiter and ask for a steak knife. I've had far better steaks and far worse, I did like the grilled vine tomatoes.

The lady serving drinks behind the bar was miserable, got the drinks order wrong. Asked for an orange gin with lemonade and was served a pint of juice. She was blunt and came across as rude, as if she didn’t want to be there. I ordered the beyond burger- if you can even call it that- with no salad. The “burger” consisted of a brioche bun and the beyond patty, even though on the menu it states the burger comes with some kind of vegan cheese. The burger came with a side of fries and onion rings, and weirdly with a pot of pasta sauce. My partner ordered the fillet burger (the one with steak and bacon with beef dripping gravy and Alabama white bbq sauce). He said the crispy onion just tasted like oil and the burger itself was bland even with all those extras. He also described the steak on the burger as too tough- he ordered the steak as rare. His drink of choice was a pint of coke, only complaint about the drink was that it was only half full!
