We had three sessions with Helen and so much support in between. The things you've taught us have completely changed not only our relationship with our boy, Otis, but his relationship with the rest of the world. He is calm, interested in us, focused on us, looking for guidance from us and just generally getting to enjoy being a dog. We can have him off lead, he can play with other dogs and follow with us when we leave, he can greet dogs politely without rushing in, he can walk by people, dogs, distractions and all manner of things without feeling overwhelmed. It's been completely life changing for us and I'm so happy to be able to do right by our dog and guide him through life without the use of any force. I never thought that would be possible, but the change in him through using completely force free methods has been immeasurable.

I've been following the Glasgow Dog Trainer & Behaviour Consultant on FB & IG for a number of years now & last year signed up for his online course & support. What sets this course apart from some others available, is the observational detail you get to enhance your awareness as your dog's guardian and day to day guide. This gives so much more insight to the application of the skills and methods taught, and with the online subscription the opportunity to replay and rewatch training videos with John's observational guidance is great. As a Scot currently living in Texas, it is great to have the opportunity to connect with and benefit from the GDT's expertise and modern dog training practices - especially when delivery is with a Scottish accent & words! A trainer with the utmost compassion for dogs and their humans.

Such a fabulous course. The subscription gives access to all the lessons to watch as many times as I want and need. I keep seeing new things. The support is amazing too with additional online meetings. I’ve had rescue hounds for ten years and worked with trainers but this way of learning really helps me as I can do it at my own pace and revisit things. My confidence is growing and my relationship with my reactive and anxious hound is changing in some really wonderful ways. Highly recommend!

I only recently started the on-line training course with Glasgow Dog Training and Behaviour Consultant and I'm so glad I did. I have found that Johns teachings are well researched, current and most important of all to me, stays away from using force of any kind. Last year I paid thousands of dollars for an accredited course, here in Australia, and quickly found the techniques and beliefs were not aligned with my values in life, relying on training that was heavy handed, harsh and outdated, to say the least. I have noticed a real change in my own and my dogs behaviour to be calmer and that brings more fun. My younger dog in particular has shown such a willingness to learn and engage with me that I hadn't had before with the other training. I highly recommend this online course to all my friends now and to others in general conversation. It's such great value too!
