Had brunch at The Tea Party today. The highlight was the brilliant service by young Nat the student. Her energy, enthusiasm and all-round friendliness absolutely made our day. Hers was the best customer service we have experienced in some years and we were talking about her and how valuable she is to the Tea Party all afternoon.

I was so excited but ended up so disappointed. The place looks super fancy and really well decorated from the outside! We sat near the till unfortunately we had to overhear a conversation about staff vomiting all weekend and sleeping on the bathroom floor etc! Just what you want when you're about to eat 🤣 We had afternoon tea for two for £36 you get 4 sandwich triangles each a scone and a choice of one slice of cake, I thought afternoon tea was usually a selection of cakes etc etc? Oh and I drink! So a sandwich cake and drink for £18pp! I know things have gone up but wow!
