Zero Stars but won't let you post Zero. They don't even know who does and doesn't work for them. These people are a danger to their patients! If anyone tries to refer you to them, refuse! Not sure how many they have killed through failure to act. Serious warning.

Helen and her little cronie are very rude and useless. Avoid this service like the plague. If you’re in a suicidal state of mind also avoid like the plague. They’ll make you feel worthless, that you’re exaggerating, that you don’t need any help because they can’t be bothered to give it to you.

The most useless place, getting through to someone is impossible you are left on hold and then they just put the phone down. Promised phone calls back and it never happens. I’ve suffered mental health issues for 12 years and have been under their services many times from CAMS who just made everything 100x worse to adult psychiatrists that I am supposed to see every 3 months. I get to see one once or twice a year if I’m lucky and even then it’s a quick 10 minute appointment, and you are left feeling worse. You are also lucky if your appointment doesn’t get cancelled a few times before it actually happening. Often left wondering why psychiatrists go into the jobs they do considering they just do not care. I was put on a strong medication last October and promised a review in 4 weeks time. It’s now the end of March and still haven’t seen anyone despite 3 different mental health professionals requesting an urgent appointment because of my emotional state and coming off a medication and needing a new one. . Stop telling people to reach out for help if they feel depressed when you do absolutely nothing about it. Quite honestly the only time I’ve been treated right by the NHS was under the perinatal mental health team. Other than that they are completely useless. The only help seems to be from charitys who are not paid and do it out of the goodness of their hearts. You’d think when you need to urgently see a psychiatrist who are on £50 an hour and you are 7 months overdue they’d give you that 10 minute slot just to change your medication. Cannot express enough how disgusted I am with the whole system. All I’m going to say is this service have let far too many people down and no wonder so many people have lost their lives to mental health in and around Southend when this is the ‘care’ you receive when asking for help. You are past from pillar to post in this system, given your 6 week therapy and off you pop never to hear from anyone again for another year. Please, stop going into a line of work in which you care so very little for people who are at their must vunerable. Absolutely nothing positive to say about this place.
