I have been having beginners lessons as an adult with Saoirse Monaghan and she has taken me from literally zero knowledge of riding a horse to having the confidence to spend a week in South Africa on safari doing lots of long canters outdoors and feel very safe doing it. She is incredibly patient and also pushes me that little bit to keep me progressing. All the horses I have ridden have been brilliant, so kind and patient. I couldn’t recommend Saoirse highly enough and am even going to carry on having lessons with her now my holiday is over!

Just returned from a fantastic couple of days at Talland with my partner Julie. We booked a novice adult course and apart from our own lessons we got to see some amazing riding and instruction in between. Everyone was so welcoming and took time to speak and made sure we were looked after. Our instructors were excellent, pitching the lessons to our level and making sure to find out what we wanted to achieve. Getting to experience a small piece of what Talland does was magic. We'll definitely be returning.

I started coming to Talland 10 years ago and have never looked back. The people are so kind and full of knowledge, the horses are amazing there is everything you need from beginners to advanced, jumping, dressage and side saddle. Once you have had your lesson you can enjoy some delicious food in the cafe or take your cuppa and watch other riders in the beautiful indoor school. There is no where else like it, it’s fantastic

Just had the most amazing weekend at Talland. I had an elite lesson with Pippa on one of there Grand Prix school masters. Pippa put me at ease straight away and we had so much fun along side learning some very technical dressage. I can’t recommend them highly enough the whole team were just lovely, I can’t wait to get the opportunity to go back.

I couldn't recommend Talland enough. No matter your level, everyone is welcome, and every instructor makes the lesson fun and confidence giving. Pippa is my personal favourite. Her passion for riding and teaching comes through in every lesson. Today I came back to Talland after not having a lesson since I was a student 7 years ago, and my passion has been reignited once again.

I have been coming to Tallands with a number of different horses over the years and what you can't learn at Tallands you can't learn anywhere. Pammy is a font of all knowledge, her words are like gold dust, I have sat for 2 days sjust absorbing knowledge from watching Pammy's lessons, her style of coaching is honest, fair and direct which I love. This brings me to her daughter Pippa, lessons with Pippa incorporate the old and the new, modernising techniques and allowing the horses to learn. I have learnt to much about myself and my horses. The stable staff are amazing, they care so much about the stable horses and always want to go above and beyond for clients like myself staying over. Lastly the lady who staff's the canteen is such a lovely lady, chatty and again just wants to please.
