Nicely placed in Malton staff and rooms were excellent stayed for one night bank holiday Sunday at the end of may on arrival lots of people in and around the hotel as Malton has a food festival on and although staff seemed to be busy we got checked in without a wait breakfast the following morning was busy with all tables taken up one of them being a table for ten and although we had a small wait for our hot food it was still an excellent service considering the amount of people and I must mention the extremely attentive staff, the hotel should be proud to have you on board Geoff

Second stay at the Talbot. Beautiful hotel, lovely grounds. Pleasant room with comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with decent shower and quality toiletries. We came here for the afternoon tea, and separately because we enjoyed it so much for drinks. Brilliant place, views and food. Had an issue with my coffee during the brunch and they immediately upgraded it to a latte.
