Outstanding. We recently moved to Petersfield and joined Swan as a family. Our first interaction was with a caring, empathetic and professional receptionist and our subsequent appointments with doctors has been in a similar vein. Thank you for creating a wonderful patient journey.

We moved to Petersfield last year and the whole family registered with Swan Surgery. I was apprehensive about having to change doctor, but, I can honestly say that my children and I have received the best service and care that I have ever received from any medical practice. Their communication and follow up has been outstanding. Thank you!

I hadn’t needed to go to the GP surgery for quite some time but this year I have had to go on 3 occasions for either myself or my daughter. On each occasion I found the receptionists to be lovely and I very easily obtained an appointment where again I either saw a GP or Nurse, each and every one of them have been professional, kind and helpful. I have nothing negative to say at all.

My mum has just received the most amazing service from the NHS starting with Swan Surgery in Petersfield, the doctors, paramedic and reception/telephone staff. An ambulance was called which arrived within 15 minutes , straight into A&E at QA Hospital into a cubicle for x-rays, blood tests etc, then superb care on the ward until she was discharged today and I brought her home. Thank you NHS!

How can a doctor’s surgery justify a £100 fine for parking when the patient is kept waiting for 45 minutes - and is not even told their car had to be registered at the reception area ? An absolutely disgusting thing to do and this will be going to national newspapers - really nasty and cruel thing to do to a sick person

Outdated services, No e-consult or email for repeat prescription, you have to wait up to 10 days for your new prescription, all other surgeries use email, as it is a lot more proficient. The pharmacy next door is a shambles, only 2 in at a time, the ques are ridiculous.

The receptionists here are terrible. They were very unprofessional and made my partner feel incredible uncomfortable. She called them up yesterday morning to explain her circumstances and kindly requested to speak to a female doctor. She was told to call back tomorrow so that she could be put through to one, however, upon calling for a second time, she was later told that she could not speak to a female doctor about her matter which is very personal to her. She was told she would have no choice but to receive a call from a male doctor and then explain to him that she would in fact be more comfortable speaking to a female GP. Can I ask, why are all the receptionists so against us. It’s like they never truly want to help. There role simply consists of saying ‘I will get a doctor to call you’. I mean it’s clear that anybody could do a job like this, but surely they can get staff that treat you with respect. I am gobsmacked that just to speak to a doctor my girlfriend has to go through all of this.

An urgent prescription from hospital for eye drops and antibiotic cream was submitted to the surgery at 9.00am on the 2nd March 2022.I contacted the surgery in person on the 7thMarch to establish the whereabouts of prescription. It had been booked in on your system, and that was the only info obtained. The method of handling prescriptions from hospital consultants and their teams is a disgrace. My wife in pain needed in particular the cream to prevent an infection of her cornea abrasion.
