I had something in my eye that I couldn't clear with using an eye bath. The following day it was quite sore and was told by my GP to go to Eye Casualty. I dreaded having to spend 6 hours plus in the LRI as I'd experienced this before. I phoned Stoneygate at 12 pm and Penny who took my call went above and beyond with trying to squeeze me in to see a consultant. Mr Kumar kindly agreed to see me at the end of his clinic at 1 pm. I was greeted by a friendly, caring and efficient team who quickly ran me through some very thorough tests and Mr Kumar was able to remove the object, which was embedded in my eyelid. I was leaving the hospital at just gone 2 pm and on my way home. The following day Penny phoned to check that all was well. I am so impressed with the treatment I received at Stoneygate and have already recommended them to family and friends.

Draping Bliss
March 2023 - removal of a chalazion on both eyelids. Dr Berry-Brincat was fantastic, from the first appointment, surgery and aftercare appointment, really approachable and easy to community with and always with a smile. The whole process was quick, fantastically managed and I felt really taken care of. The after care pack of cooling eye mask, antibiotic drops, gauzes and saline water, showed how much they cared, even after the surgery appointment, even a polite follow up call the day after the surgery to make sure I was ok. I would recommend Stoneygate to all my family and friends. Overall fantastic service.

The whole experience of my cataract operation was very smooth, the staffs were very friendly and supportive, Dr. Vijay Savant has taken utmost care of my whole surgery process and Nurse Roby was great to explain pre and post operation procedures. I’m really pleased with the whole procedure that has been carried out. I can highly recommend Stoney gate Eye hospital to anyone. Overall, very pleasant experience. From consultation to surgery to post surgery was excellent my Surgeon, Mrs Antonella Berry Brincat was kind, caring, gentle and the whole procedure was painless. My experience here was excellent. All the staff were welcoming and supportive. The hospital was clean and tidy. The reception staff put me at ease and the nursing staff were professional and cheerful. The team in the operating theatre were friendly and took time to explain exactly what was happening. If it’s possible to feel relaxed having eye surgery that is how I felt. I didn’t feel any pain and the cataract removal procedure was swift and successful. I would recommend Stoneygate Eye Hospital to anyone looking to have an eye procedure carried out.

Had a cataract operation, vision was blurred and was told by opticians to contact the consultant. Called the practice and was informed I would need to pay an additional £200 for a consultation even though they were the ones that carried out the procedure. Terrible aftercare and completely unaccountable.
