A very fine dinner in an elegant restaurant. I had the duck. It was absolutely delicious! The prices were very reasonable and the staff was most friendly. I hope to come back here one day.

A wonderfully relaxed space with fantastic service and gorgeous food. Wonderful experience. At £42 for two courses or £52 for three and bottles of wine starting from £29, it's not the cheapest, but as they say, "You get what you pay for" and what you get is absolutely sumptuous. Wheelchair accessibility: Located off the main street down some steps which lead into a very tight double door entrance way. Not the most wheelchair friendly.

It's all about the food, which is excellent. My wife and I booked for our wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed with the quality of the food. I had the Scallops to start and the Halibut as a main. I can honestly say that it was the best restaurant meal I have ever had. My wife had the Venison as a main and was equally impressed. The wine choice was also first class and we went for the cheese board to finish. The two young servers were friendly and efficient and their service was first class. We felt the older male server whilst very professional and efficient, was a little distant and did not really engage, he could have been a bit warmer in his attention. However, this did not detract from our enjoyment of the evening, after all it was all about the food and the Chef must be complimented on the quality of the menu. A lovely restaurant with great cooking. What's not to like.
