Kelvin has just fitted a beautifully made stained-glass window at our home, and we could not be happier with it. The whole process from start to finish was made really enjoyable because of Kelvin’s professionalism and thoughtful guidance. He visited our house first to get a sense of the space, and on all our subsequent visits to his workshop, he was very patient and empathetic, giving us all the time we needed to explore different designs and colours. He delivered it today on time and fitted it quickly and neatly. An all-round great experience and we could not recommend Kelvin highly enough.

The guy in here was very rude to me and eventually refused to draw me any designs. I had a clear understanding of what I wanted; photos and examples of other houses on my street, and emailed over some suggested designs drawn to scale, along with questions about what we could fill the missing parts of the design with (based on other similar houses). We also had a decent budget. During our in-person appointment, where I believe I was friendly and articulate, the owner totally failed to understand what I was talking about and became aggressive. I honestly I got the impression he didn't really know what he was doing which resulted in his behaviour becoming frustrated, patronising and rude. In the end I left a little shaken at the way I had been spoken to. He did promise to send some designs but despite chasing over the phone and on email I didn't ever receive any. We ended up using a company in Bolton who were an absolute delight to work with and the windows now look fantastic. Seems there is utterly no benefit to using local businesses any more if this is how they behave.

We have just used Kelvin to create three stained glass panels for our Victorian front door. We gave him photos of the neighbours original panes to reference. From this Kelvin created three perfect copies - they are utterly stunning and match perfectly with the windows on the return adjacent to the door itself. I cannot rate Kelvin highly enough - he is passionate in his craft and from the moment I called there was no question I was going anywhere else to get the work done. He even engaged an artist to paint a bird in the Victorian style as a centrepiece on the top pane - its sensational and looks like it's been in place 120 years! I would not hesitate to use him in future.

We had a really wonderful experience. Kelvin visited our home, scoped out what we wanted, designed a really great (and unique) pattern, made it very quickly and installed it in no time at all. I just wish we had more windows that we could replace with stained glass!
