Great location, stunning setting but that’s as good as it got for us. We stopped in for lunch on a weekend to New Forest. It was clear from the off the service was subpar and the food, I can only assume, was not fresh! After being told the sandwich would come out toasted, it came out on defrosted, crumbly untoasted bread. A salad swimming in oil was on bettered by unfresh old salmon which made my partner physically sick within mins of leaving. We have tried to call through to the pub/restaurant just to make them aware of the satiation but I was unable to get through.
