Hi! I'm a Glaswegian born and bred, but have lived in Spain for 20 years. This has to be, in my opinion, one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. From the service, the food outstanding, including the crema Catalana! I highly recommend it!!!

Being an out of towner, I really wanted to try a good spot for my last dinner in Glasgow. A friend recommended this place, but it just didn't meet the expectations that I had after reading all of the amazing online reviews. Pros: The place was easy to find. Amazing atmosphere! I loved the interior look and the overall vibe was great and modern. The cocktail menu was quirky and on theme. And the two drinks I had were very tasty. I appreciated the different option of cuts of meat that I haven't seen in the US before. I ordered the croquettes from the bar menu as an appetizer and it was the best thing of the whole night! Cons: The food was severely under seasoned. I ordered the Galician fillet by recommendation of the waiter and told him my preferred temp (medium). Half of the steak was under and the other half slightly over. Not sure how that happens, but the undercooked part was just so unenjoyable because it was very chewy. I also ordered the potatoes and grilled asparagus. Both had absolutely no salt or flavor to them at all. Wait, I take that back. The potatoes had a strange, overpowering wood flavor that was very off-putting. And wood fired prepared wasn't in the description. Otherwise, I would've made a different choice. Thank goodness for the salt and pepper shakers on the table 😬 Finally, the waiter was super friendly and attentive in the beginning, but he was less and less after the first drink arrived. If it were a busy Thursday night, then I wouldn't have thought twice about it, but I was a one top table in a room with another two top. Could this just have been a bad Thursday dinner? Possibly. Every restaurant has its off day like anyone else. Would I return here or recommend it? Probably not. It just didn't live up to the internet hype for me.

We had street corn and Galician sliders and they were just fantastic. The rest can be seen in the picture.

Went here for the first time for lunch. Great atmosphere lovely staff with cocktails which were divine and that’s before we tucked in. I had pork cheek with prawn to start and monkfish tail for my main course. Be warned you need to peel the prawn and there was no finger bowl though I managed with the napkin. The monkfish tail was huge and served with truffle fries. My dining partner has the octopus and squid to start then onto the Spanish steak with fries on the side washed down with a lovely bottle of Rioja Ciranza. Expensive lunch but a wonderful treat.
